Why is the Bears logo on the top of their jerseys?
A Chicago Bears fan who posted the “bear scatt” logo on his team’s jerseys on Instagram was quickly confronted by his fellow fans on Twitter, who argued that the logo was a reference to his son’s death.
The logo is a reference, according to @danieldobson22, to his 6-year-old son who died in January, 2016.
“We’re not sure why the Bears are using the bear scatt logo, but I guess it’s just something that they wanted to do.””
The Bears, who lost the Super Bowl to the Patriots, have since apologized for the logo and vowed to “make it right.””
