The bears logo and black bear diner are among a handful of logos that have been spotted in a photo from a bear poop display in the Anchorage Zoo.
The photo was taken by photographer Paul Miller in April.
Miller said he had been visiting the Anchorage zoo for about two weeks when he snapped the photo, which was posted on Facebook last week.
Miller said he was curious about the bears logo.
“I didn’t know where it was, and I thought, ‘It looks like something the bears would use,'” Miller said.
The bear logo was a common logo on bears at the Anchorage park.
He said it reminded him of a bear he had seen in the wild in Texas.
At least four bears have been photographed in Anchorage since then, Miller said, and the bears’ logos are often featured prominently in promotional material.
“I don’t think it’s unusual for bears to use a bear logo in public spaces,” Miller said in a statement to Reuters.
A bear in the exhibit, the Anchorage bear den and the bear’s poop are also featured prominently on Alaska’s bear logo website.
Some bears have had their logo changed and are now more commonly referred to as bears from the state, Miller told Reuters.
