— Bears quarterback Josh McCown threw a touchdown pass and had three catches for 26 yards in the second quarter to help the Bears snap a three-game losing streak and earn a road victory over the Bears in their own territory.
Bears receiver Davante Adams had two catches for 31 yards for a third-quarter touchdown.
Bears coach Marc Trestman was in the booth and called the game as well.
“You can’t lose games when you get in there and play hard,” Trestmen said.
“That’s what we have to do.”
Bears receiver Jordan Howard had his first career touchdown catch and his first two receptions were for touchdowns.
“It was pretty good,” Bears quarterback Jared Goff said.
Bears rookie quarterback Jake Rudock completed 7 of 12 passes for 102 yards with one touchdown and a pair of interceptions.
Bears wide receiver Deonte Thompson had two receptions for 14 yards.
It was the first loss for the Bears since 2010, when the Bears beat the Eagles in Week 10 and 13.
The Bears have lost five straight in Chicago.
They’ve lost five of their last six games.
The win was the Bears third straight.
They trailed 21-7 early in the third quarter when the Eagles went on a 12-play, 77-yard drive.
McCown was sacked twice on the drive.
The Eagles had 10 first downs and were driving for a touchdown when McCown stepped out of the pocket and threw a 20-yard touchdown pass to Williams.
McCay was sacked four times and was sacked again.
McCork was sacked seven times.
The defense held the Bears to 4 of 17 for 71 yards.
“They played good,” Rams receiver Tavon Austin said.
The Rams were leading 23-0 at halftime.
“We were making plays and we were in position to get some points.
But the game was so tight and so close,” said Rams defensive end Justin Houston.
Bears running back Jordan Howard caught a touchdown in the first half and had nine catches for 117 yards.
Bears defensive end Michael Oher had a sack.
Bears linebacker Mike Daniels had two tackles for loss.
The game was tied 3-3 in the fourth quarter.
The Bills had a chance to tie the game when linebacker Jerrell Freeman intercepted a pass from McCown and returned it 10 yards for the game-winning score.
The Browns had a 27-yard field goal try by wide receiver Kevin White with 1:19 remaining.
“I can’t give a full description of what I saw,” Bills coach Doug Marrone said.
Browns safety Darian Stewart recovered a fumble in the end zone.
Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden completed 13 of 18 passes for 144 yards and one touchdown.
He was sacked five times and threw three interceptions.
The last time the Bears won at Buffalo, McCown had a season-high three touchdowns and a team-high 492 yards passing.
“What you saw today was a very good effort from us,” Marrone told the media.
“A great performance from our players.”
Browns quarterback Tyler Thigpen threw for 210 yards and two touchdowns.
Weeden threw for 249 yards and three touchdowns.
