What you need to know about bear cubs in Idaho

Bear cubs born at the Idaho Humane Society in March have been placed with their mothers at the shelter.

The cubs were born at 12:01 p.m. on March 13, and the mother will return to the shelter at 3:30 p..m., said Kim Hovis, director of communications for the Humane Society.

The mom will be monitored and released back into the wild as soon as possible.

Hovi said the cubs will be housed at the animal sanctuary until their birthdays in late August.

The zoo is accepting new cubs and parents for adoption.
